Hello! I’m Lisa Venticinque, a professional freelance photographer based in beautiful Saint Paul, Minnesota.
Since 2000, I have been photographing portraits, corporate & social events, and weddings in my own region as well as locations around the world. I have a very cool photo studio in Northeast Minneapolis where I love to spend time creating, but I also work extensively on location.
One of my greatest talents is my ability to relate to people in any situation. I have the gift of being able to see each person’s true, individual beauty, and to reflect that beauty back out into the world through the medium of photography. This means that I easily adapt to pretty much every situation, from working with corporate CEOs and marketing teams, to a backyard BBQ that doubles as a surprise wedding ceremony, to artist/musician collaborations and a little of everything else in between. Working with camera-shy subjects is my forte, and my portrait sessions are always fun- really, they are! When it comes to weddings, while I have pretty much seen it all by this point, my preferred niche is small, meaningful, and nontraditional ceremonies, parties, and elopements; I fully embrace and celebrate the wide and wonderful spectrum of forms that love takes, and I enjoy working with couples who want to do things their own unique way.
I am a lifelong feminist who values diversity and inclusion; authenticity, kindness, and social justice are at the heart of my personal ethos, and they undeniably shape me as the person and photographer I am today.
Whoever you are, whatever the job, you can trust me to bring respect, skill, and enthusiasm to everything I do. I am proud of the high-quality work I deliver, and I strive to make each and every interaction a positive and enjoyable experience.
Please do get in touch and say hello, and tell me about what your photo needs are. I’d love to work with you!
And in case you’re wondering about that perplexing last name of mine: Venticinque is the Italian word for 25, which is why I’ve always been Lisa 25. My “it” in the So, do it! Salons is my large-scale creative project about Venticinque. Check out WeAre25.com to see what I’m up to.
